On Superbowl (49) Sunday February 1st, 2015 I taught television star Anthony Bourdain a private class in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. He is a Renzo Gracie 4th degree white belt that trains regularly in New York. On this day we worked on some basic guard techniques and sparred a little. The next day we worked on his guard passing and also did a little sparring. He picks up the techniques and concepts pretty quickly which made teaching him very easy. After his second day he was off to the island of Maui to work and train with Maui Jiu-Jitsu Academy.

Anthony was such a nice guy and very cool about letting us take pictures of him. He even posted my school logo on his Instagram account @anthonybourdain.
